The Mikulicz Retractor has a versatile set of features that assist surgeons in lenghty intra-abdominal surgeries. It was named after the Polish surgeon Jan Mikulicz-Radecki.

In the first place, the retractor has a slender shaft that widens into a flat L-shaped blade. The blade design allows surgeons to easily insert the tool beneath the narrow spaces within the abdominal cavity.

Moreover, the blade has a resilient structure and helps surgeons to pull back heavy organs, such as the liver and bowels, while avoiding forcible tractions.

In addition, the retractor comes with an elongated slim shaft. While performing deep abdominal surgeries, the shaft design grants access to deep cavities.

Lastly, all our Mikulicz Retractor are available in premium grade stainless steel.
