The Mclntyre Lacrimal Cannula offers a broad range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to eliminate blockage of the lacrimal canaliculus and the nasolacrimal duct.
For this purpose, the instrument features a 23 gauge hollow tube with blunt edges, ensuring atraumatic duct access. In addition, the tube has two patterns, including a straight one for deep explorations and a slightly curved profile for complex approaches.
Moreover, the Mclntyre Lacrimal Cannula features an inferior hub that holds the tube. Furthermore, the hub permits to control the flow of fluids through the cannula and allows to manipulate the device.
