The McIvor Mouth Gag offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to keep the mouth from closing during oral procedures.

For this purpose, the instrument features an oval fenestrated wire that easily accommodates to the mouth’s outline. In addition, the wire has an upper silicone tube cover to protect the oral mucosa from pressure injuries.

Moreover, the McIvor Mouth Gag features a ratcheted where surgeons can insert the tongue depressors. Furthermore, the rail has a serrated clamp for unlocking the passage.
