The McGivney Suction Hemorrhoidal Ligator offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to atraumatically manipulate and position o-bands during haemorrhoidal ligation.

For this purpose, the instrument features a hollow tube with an angled profile that enhances sightlines during the procedures. In addition, the tip of the tube has a suction port and a 10.0mm charging cone. Using a spring-loaded system, surgeons can carry o-bands and encircle haemorrhoids with the cone.

Moreover, the McGivney Suction Hemorrhoidal Ligator features a hollow handle that minimizes the risk of slippage. This ergonomic design includes longitudinal serrations to prevent fatigue.
