The Mayo Common Duct Probe offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to measure the depth of the access into the common bile duct and explore lessons.

For this purpose, the instrument features a blunt tip that keeps local tissues away from danger during the procedure. In addition, the tip is available in 5.0, 6.0 and 6.7mm diameters to accommodate a variety of duct sizes.
