The Lester Fixation Forcep offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to hold delicate structures within the eye, foreign bodies and other objects.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of very fine, straight tips that enhance the surgical reach. In addition, the 1 x 2 atraumatic teeth are ideal to grasp and fixate the conjunctiva and other tissues.

Moreover, the Lester Fixation Forcep features a spring handle with transverse ridges to prevent slippage. Also, the spring function permits to close the tips against each other with controlled clamping pressure.
