The Kummel Retractor brings multiple benefits to the operating room. These benefits vary according to the instrument’s features.

Firstly, the retractor comes with a short shaft that quickly arches forwards into a curved blade. The blade is wide, and has a terminal upwards curve for protecting the retracted tissues.

Secondly, the blade has blunt rims for avoiding local injury and haemorrhage.

In addition, the handle has a bulky hollow design. Moreover, it features an ergonomic outline and a bottom hook for resting the assistant’s fingers.

Lastly, all our Kummel Retractors are available in an overall lenght of 28.5cm.
