The Koerte Retractor consists of a rake-type hook and, a long shaft and a handle. Also, the handle has a central ring for preventing slippage.

To this end, the retractor has a hollow distal end after the central ring, which has a teardrop shape. Both features allow surgeons to perform long procedures with comfort.

Moreover, the retractor’s hook has eight prongs that can be blunt or sharp. The surgeon can pick any model according to the surgery and the tissue being treated.
