The Knutson Urethrography Instrument offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to diagnose urethral strictures, trauma or blockages during retrograde urethrogram.

For this purpose, the instrument features a dull, cone-shaped tip that easily slides into the meatus without causing local injury. After that, surgeons can inject the radiopaque dye into the urethra and localize pathologies with ease.

In addition, the Knutson Urethrography Instrument features an ergonomic spring handle that permits to align the device with the meatus. Also, the device includes a screw-lock mechanism for holding the needle in place.
