The Kelman-McPherson Tissue Forcep offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to guide suture threads and atraumatically hold the scleral edge of the corneal incision.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of 0.3mm very fine, curved jaws that easily follow the corneal contour. In addition, the device includes tying platforms for grasping sutures and tie knots with exceptional precision. Also, the toothed profile is ideal to grasp the cornea and other fragile tissues with safety.

Moreover, the Kelman-McPherson Tissue Forcep features an ergonomically designed spring handle. As a result, surgeons can close the jaws against each other with controlled pressure to avoid trauma.
