The Kelly Descemet’s Membrane Punch offers a broad range of benefits during surgeries that treat glaucoma. Its principal use is to cut round holes in the desired tissue without damaging nearby structures.

For this purpose, the instrument features a small tip supplied with a plunger-action mechanism. As a result, surgeons can press the spring handle to activate the mechanism and cut a round piece of tissue. In addition, the working end is available in 0.5 and 1.0mm sizes to suit different scenarios.
