The K-Wire Repositioning Forceps offers a wide array of surgical advantages for orthopedic surgeons. These advantages are especially useful to perform open fracture reduction and K-wire fixation.
For example, the instrument has a pair of jaws that feature an inward curve at the tip. Moreover, the jaws come in curved and straight models, which allows surgeons to perform difficult surgical approaches. As a result, they can hold bone tight in the clamp prior to the K-wire insertion.
In addition, the device features a long ratchet and ergonomically designed finger rings. The long ratchet is ideal to adjust the pressure applied to the bone fragments during transfixion.
