El Irrigador de Drews ofrece beneficios indispensables en ciertas cirugías de cataratas. Su función principal consiste en remover el núcleo de la cápsula a través del túnel escleral.

Para este fin, el instrumento cuenta con un tubo recto y delgado para atravesar el túnel escleral. Asimismo, su diseño de lazo es ideal para aferrarse y presionar el núcleo. Además, los puertos permiten irrigar la cámara anterior para desplazar el núcleo hacia afuera.

Nuestro Irrigador de Drews ostenta una base cúbica que favorece al agarre. Asimismo, esta sirve como punto de conexión con una jeringa u otros sistemas de irrigación.
