The Hibbs Bone Gouge offers multiple benefits to the orthopedic surgeons. These benefits play an important role in the harvest of cancellous bone tissue for multiple purposes.

For example, the instrument features a narrow, concave blade supplied with a sharp cutting edge. Moreover, the blade is available in several sizes, ranging from 6.0 to 32mm. As a result, surgeons can scoop the soft tissue of delicate and large bones.

In addition, the device has a solid, hexagonal handle equipped with a smooth working surface. Also, the bottom end of the instrument is flat and works as an impacting platform to receive mallet hammering.
