The Heywood-Smith Uterine Polypus Forcep is a scissor-like, hand-held instrument that offers multiple benefits. Its principal use is to assist in polypectomy, endometrial curettage, and myomectomy.

For this purpose, the instrument comes with a pair of oval jaws for capturing the desired polyp. Moreover, the jaws have fenestrations and serrations that help in securing a firm grasp.

In addition, the streamlined shafts are long and ensure access to deep cavities. Also, a ratchet system between the shanks facilitates surgeons to perform self-retaining clamping. The riveted joint provides smooth closure and aperture movements.

All our Heywood-Smith Uterine Polypus Forcep feature a pair of ring handles that are useful to minimize fatigue. Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish.
