The Heiss Artery Forcep offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to compress arteries and veins, in order to block the blood flow.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of jaws with a tapered design to easily traverse narrow passages. In addition, the opposing surfaces of the jaws have serrations to obtain a strong but atraumatic grip. Also, the shafts’ elongated profile helps to reach deep anatomical areas.

Moreover, the Heiss Artery Forcep features finger rings that reduce the risk of accidental slippage. Additionally, a ratchet mechanism between the rings permits to apply different levels of clamping pressure.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality instruments in your operating rooms.
