The Heaney Hysterectomy Forcep offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to help surgeons to excise the uterus from its adnexal ligaments and tissues.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of curved jaws that conform to the anatomy of the pelvic cavity. In addition, the jaws include a cross-serrated pattern that provides a strong gripping and minimizes trauma. Also, the device is available in two patterns with one or two teeth, which enhance the clamping action.

Moreover, the Heaney Hysterectomy Forcep features a ratchet system that allows to self-lock the jaws. Furthermore, surgeons can apply different levels of pressure to the clamped tissues.
