The Hartmann Bone Rongeur offers a wide array of surgical benefits in multiple surgery areas. However, these benefits are particularly important during mastoidectomy procedures.
For this purpose, the instrument comes with a pair of small jaws with sharp-edged opposing surfaces. Moreover, the surfaces have a scooped out design, which surgeons use for biting diseased bone pieces. As a result, they can cut all the infected portions of the bone.
In addition, the device features a plier style handle. Also, the handle comes with a smooth surface and a spring mechanism. The whole design has the purpose of providing surgical comfort and reducing fatigue.
All our Hartmann Bone Rongeurs are available in premium grade stainless steel with a satin coat that prevents glare.
