The Hargis Anterior Border Stripper offers multiple surgical advantages. Its principal use is to unveil the anterior border of the mandibular ramus to perform chin augmentation procedures.

For this purpose, the instrument features an angled, U-shaped tip designed to face the contour of the ascending ramus. After that, surgeons can proceed to atraumatically strip the muscles and periosteum to expose the bone.
