The Gwilliam Hysterectomy Forcep offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to facilitate the dissection of the uterus.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of jaws with longitudinal serrations that ensure a strong gripping. In addition, the tips of the jaws have 1 x 2 interlocking teeth that increase surgical precision.

Moreover, the Gwilliam Hysterectomy Forcep features a ratchet system for self-locking the jaws. As a result, surgeons can apply different levels of pressure to the clamped tissues during the procedure.
