The Gillies Bone Osteotome offers a wide array of surgical advantages for maxillofacial surgeons. These advantages come in handy in maxillofacial reconstructive surgeries.

For this purpose, the instrument has a 5.0mm double-beveled blade featured with a sharp cutting edge. Moreover, the blade is wide and surgeons can push it against the maxillary bone to reshape the bone surface.

In addition, the device includes a solid handle supplied with a bottom impacting platform. This particular feature allows surgeons to perform impacts with the mallet with ease.
