The Gass Scleral Marker offers a wide array of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to localize retinal holes or scleral lessons, press them down and consequently mark them.

For this purpose, the instrument features a thimble-style design, which surgeons can manipulate by inserting a finger. In addition, the thimble has a small, curved shaft that has the ideal outline to fit the convex contour of the eye.

Moreover, the tip of the Gass Scleral Marker features a 1.5mm diameter, which generates small dark scleral zones. The blunt profile of the tip prevents local damage and accidental cutting of the sclera.
