The Freer Septum Gouge offers a wide array of surgical advantages for ENT surgeons. These advantages come in handy to perform nasal reconstruction procedures and other plastic surgeries.

For this purpose, the instrument features a 4.0mm concave blade supplied with a beveled cutting edge. Moreover, surgeons can scoop the submucosa and the cancellous bone of the nasal septum. After that, they can harvest the material for grafting or biopsies.

In addition, the device features a solid, hexagonal handle equipped with horizontal serrations. This particular design helps in securing a strong grip and prevents fatigue during lengthy procedures.
