The Emmet Dressing Forcep is a scissor-like, hand-held instrument that offers a variety of benefits for surgeons. Its principal use is to clean large surgical fields and stop haemorrhage if necessary.

For this purpose, the instrument comes with a pair of large jaws for grasping heavy dressing materials. Moreover, the jaws have pin insertions on their inner surfaces for securing a firm clamping action.

In addition, the boxlock offers a perfect and smooth clamping movement. Also, the ratchet mechanism is ideal for self-retaining the grasp and maneuver the dressing material with ease.
