The Elliot Scleral Trephine offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to atraumatically separate the corneoscleral junction to perform corneal transplant surgeries and other procedures.

For this purpose, the instrument features a circular tip supplied with a sharp, cutting edge. In addition, the tip is available in 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0mm diameters to suit different anatomical variations.

Moreover, the Elliot Scleral Trephine has a cylindrical shaft designed to assemble with the Elliot Trephine Handle. Once assembled, the operator gains maximum control of the device and excises the tissue with optimal accuracy.
