The Dura Dissector offers a broad range of advantages for neurosurgeons. Its principal use is to allow for atraumatic dissection of the dura’s fibrous tissue without injuring its underlying structures.

For this purpose, the instrument features a double-ended profile for performing cuts from different approaches. For example, one of the tips has a complete sharp edge for cutting the dura from multiple angles. The opposite end features a terminal sharp edge for straightforward dissection.

Moreover, the Dura Dissector features an ergonomically designed handle. Its hexagonal shape has multiple surfaces, which grant exceptional gripping.
