The Dolwick-Type TMJ Condylar Retractor offers a wide assortment of benefits. Its principal use is to isolate the mandibular condyle to protect the internal maxillary artery during surgery.

For this purpose, the instrument features a double-ended design suitable for multiple functions. The L-shape blade with blunt edges is ideal to pull soft tissues away and expose the condyle. The curved blade, otherwise, not only follows the condyle’s neck contour but also works as a hand rest.

Moreover, the Dolwick-Type TMJ Condylar Retractor features an ergonomic handle that enhances gripping. Furthermore, the handle has a solid profile and its smooth surface minimizes fatigue.
