El Disector de Milligan brinda un amplio abanico de beneficios indispensables en procedimientos intracraneales. Su función principal consiste en separar la duramadre para acceder al sitio quirúrgico.

Para este fin, el instrumento cuenta con dos extremos diseñados para abordar la membrana desde múltiples ángulos. Por ejemplo, la hoja semicurva es ideal para despegar y elevar la duramadre de superficies cóncavas. Por otro lado, el extremo angulado permite alcanzar espacios profundos, cavidades y orificios.

Nuestro Disector de Milligan ostenta también un mango central de diseño hexagonal. Como resultado, sus diversas caras sirven como puntos de apoyo para realizar breves rotaciones del instrumento.
