The DeBakey-Mixter Atrauma Dissecting & Ligature Forceps offer multiple benefits for cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons. These benefits play an important role in controlling hemostasis.

Firstly, the forceps come with a couple of long jaws, which have 1 x 2 atraumatic serrations and angle forward. Moreover, the serrations prevent surgeons from damaging the vessel’s walls. Also, the angled design is ideal for reaching narrow spaces.

Besides, the forceps come with slender shanks that help in reaching deep layers of tissue. Also, the shanks connect the boxlock with a ratchet mechanism. The ratchet has multiple indentations for controlling the pressure applied to the artery or vein.

Lastly, all our DeBakey-Mixter Atrauma Dissecting & Ligature Forceps have 80mm working ends for grasping small, medium and large blood vessels.
