The DeBakey Atrauma Vascular Clamps is a scissor-like, clamping instrument that offers several benefits. Its principal use is to permit adequate hemostasis during heart and cardiothoracic procedures.

For this purpose, the 80mm working end features angled jaws that adapt to the mediastinum’s anatomy. Moreover, the jaws’ inner surfaces have 1 x 2 serrations that prevent vessel trauma.

In addition, the DeBakey Atrauma Vascular Clamps feature a ratchet system that self-lock the jaws and provide comfort. Also, the finger rings offer stability and reduce fatigue during lengthy procedures.
