The DeBakey Atrauma Aortic Clamps is a scissor-like, hand-held device that offers several benefits. Its principal use is to control the hemostasis during complex cardiovascular surgeries.

For this purpose, its jaws have a streamlined curved shape that easily adapts to the aorta artery. Moreover, the shafts and the stems feature an opposite curve for traversing the mediastinum contents with comfort. As a result, the instrument resembles an S-shaped design that facilitates manipulation across the surgical field.

In addition, the inner surfaces of the jaws have fine serrations for minimizing endothelial damage. Also, a ratchet system located between the stems ensures self-retaining clamping.

All our DeBakey Atrauma Aortic Clamps feature a pair of ergonomically designed finger rings that not only prevent slippage but also permit a firm grip.

Manufactured from premium grade stainless steel to provide the highest quality and product performance during cardiovascular surgeries.
