SKU:60eb8943cc44

The Davidson Scapula Retractor is a unique surgical instrument that allows surgeons to retract the scapula and expose the ribs during thoracic surgeries.

To this end, the scapula retractor features a square shaped blade. The blade has two parts, and the outer surface is wider to support the scapula. Also, it has slots for decreasing the force applied to the bone.

In addition, the space between the inner and outer surfaces accomodates the scapula adnexa and other surrounding tissues. The smooth surfaces of the blade avoid local injury.

Lastly, all our Davidson Scapula Retractors feature an ergonomic ribbed handle with an antero-inferior projection that provides confident grips for the operator.
