The Dahmen Bone Gouge offers a wide array of surgical advantages for orthopedic surgeons. These advantages play a vital role in removing diseased portions of bone and while harvesting tissue for bone grafting.

For this purpose, the gouge has an atraumatic concave blade supplied with a sharp cutting edge. Moreover, the blade is wide and is available in multiple sizes, ranging from 5.0 to 25mm. As a result, surgeons can scoop cancellous bone tissue from bone structures of every size.

In addition, the instrument features a solid ferrozell handle. Also, the handle includes a bottom round impacting platform, which surgeons can use to mallet the device against the bone.
