SKU:5c25a8cdc7ee

The Crutchfield Skull Traction Tongs offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide an efficient method to gain maximum exposure of the cervical spine during certain surgeries.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of curved, crossed arms that ensure atraumatic skull fixation. In addition, a central rivet joint attaches both arms, thereby ensuring smooth movements.

Furthermore, surgeons can insert the distal point holders into the parietal bones for avoiding accidental skull rotations. In this way, the Crutchfield Skull Traction Tongs help in preventing surgical accidents and complications.

Moreover, the arms connect to a fixation base that surgeons can attach to the operating table. Also, surgeons can open and close the arms at the desired width using a screw lock mechanism.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
