The Cotton Applicator offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide a reliable way to carry small cotton swabs for packing small spaces.
For this purpose, the instrument features a distal, helically grooved tip for carrying cotton and prevent it from slippage. In addition, the working end is available in 1.5 and 1.8mm sizes for carrying different types of cotton swabs.
Moreover, the Cotton Applicator features an ergonomically designed handle for enhanced gripping. Surgeons can perform a circular motion to clean narrow passages, such as the ear canal.
