For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of innerly-sharped jaws with a straight design for precise cutting. In addition, the lateral sides of the jaws have a rounded outline that easily slides within narrow areas and prevents injury.

Moreover, the Cottle-Kazanjian Bone Cutting Forcep includes a spring mechanism between the handle for smooth cutting motion. Also, the device features a boxlock joint that ensures exceptional results at minimal pressure.
