The Cooley Atrauma Aorta Clamps offers a broad range of benefits in surgeries that involve the aorta. Its principal use is to control hemostasis and prevent massive blood leakage during multiple surgeries.

For these purposes, the instrument features 115mm long jaws supplied with a slight, streamlined curve. In addition, the inner surfaces of the jaws have three rows of serrations that ensure a safe but strong grip.

Moreover, the Cooley Atrauma Aorta Clamps include a ratchet system to achieve self-retaining grips. Also, surgeons can face the jaws against each other with smooth movements thanks to the boxlock type joint.
