The Christensen Punctum Punch offers a broad range of benefits during ophthalmologic procedures. Its principal use is to atraumatically punch a stenotic punctum to restore the lachrymal flow.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of jaws supplied with blunt edges. In addition, the jaws display a 1.0mm size to adapt to the small punctum anatomy. As a result, surgeons can maneuver the instrument with ease and isolate the desired punctum.
Moreover, the Christensen Punctum Punch has a grip-style handle equipped with a simple spring mechanism. Therefore, the spring mechanism allows for facing the tips against each other to efficiently resolve the stenosis.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
