For this purpose, the instrument features four atraumatic concave blades. Moreover, the blades face each other in a cross-like way, which permits an efficient implant grasping. Also, the blades have a smooth working surface for preserving the eye sphere.
In addition, the device comes with a spring-loaded plunger handle. The handle includes two lateral wings and a central plunger. Surgeons can rest their fingers against the lateral wings and press the plunger with their thumbs to open the blades as desired.
