The Byrd Suction Tube features a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to aspire blood and fluids that may block the view of critical structures in the operating site.

For this purpose, the instrument features a slim tube with a versatile angled profile to reach deep surgical targets. In addition, the tube’s tip has a front port, which’s diameter ranges from 2.5 to 3.5mm. As a result, surgeons can aspire small fluid collections from narrow cavities.

Moreover, the Byrd Suction Tube features a hook finger plate for manoeuvering the device with comfort. Also, the tube’s bottom has a connecting olive to attach the device to a suction system with safety.
