The Bristow Bone Lever (Retractor) offers a wide array of surgical benefits. These benefits come in handy to perform orthopedic procedures such as hip surgeries and bone repairing procedures.
For this purpose, the device comes with an atraumatic beveled tip with a semi-sharp cutting edge. Moreover, the curved outline of the retractor is ideal to strip the periosteum during hip surgeries. To this end, they start the dissection from the greater sciatic notch and then remove the periosteum.
In addition, the instrument features a solid, flat handle that has a wide ring handle on its bottom. The ring handle ensures a comfortable grip and minimizes finger strain.
