The Braun Tenaculum Forcep offers multiple benefits for OB/GYN surgeons. Its especially useful to perform hysterectomies, fallopian tube ligation, endometrial biopsies and other procedures.
For this purpose, the instrument features sharp prongs at the tip for firmly grasping tissues. Moreover, the jaws are available in 1 x 1 or 4 x 4 prongs profiles, to accommodate a variety of intrapelvic structures.
In addition, the forceps’ shafts are straight and their long outline permits reaching deep cavities. Also, the ratchet system is ideal for self-locking the jaws and manipulate other instruments.
