The Botvin Iris Forcep offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to atraumatically manipulate tissues and ophthalmic sutures during peripheral iridectomy and other surgeries.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of bayonet-shaped jaws that permit an optimal observation of the iris. In addition, the jaws are available in two different patterns. The 1 x 2 teeth pattern is ideal to remove foreign bodies and grasping tissues. Otherwise, the serrated pattern allows for guiding 10-0 polypropylene or 4-0 silk sutures with precision.
Moreover, the Botvin Iris Forcep features a spring handle with oval fenestrations. Furthermore, this ergonomic design permits to close the tips against each other with smooth movements.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality instruments in your operating rooms.
