The Bonney Sponge Holding Forcep offers multiple benefits for surgeons in every area. These benefits help in cleaning the blood and clamping certain materials during surgery.

For this purpose, the instrument features straight looped jaws supplied with an oval fenestration. Moreover, the jaws have horizontal serrations that surgeons use to firmly grab the dressing material. After that, they proceed to clear blood & fluids from the surgical site.

In addition, the device features a pair of elongated, slim shanks that connect the boxlock to a ratchet. Also, the ratchet mechanism has multiple indentations for controlling the closure pressure and prevent tissue damage.
