The Bonn Corneal Forcep offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to stitch the corneal incision during glaucoma or cataract surgeries.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of very fine, straight jaws that are ideal to manipulate the cornea or guide the suture thread. In addition, the tips of the jaws have 1 x 2 teeth for enhanced tissue holding.

Moreover, the Bonn Corneal Forcep features a spring handle with three circular fenestrations. This ergonomic design helps to prevent accidental slippage and minimizes finger strain.
