The Biemer-Muller Approximator features a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to stop the blood flow on critical blood vessels during microvascular anastomosis.
For this purpose, the instrument has a pair of crossed jaws attached to a sliding bar. In addition, the jaws feature straight and angled patterns that surgeons can choose according to the approach. Also, the jaws have a moveable design and inner serrations to grasp vessels with minimal trauma.
Moreover, the Biemer-Muller Approximator features an adjustable distance between jaws. The distance ranges from 3.0 to 5.0mm according to the pattern and permits an enhanced view of the operating site.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
