SKU:c1402d9aa0ce

The Babcock Intestinal and Tissue Grasping Forcep offers a wide array of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to mobilize the intestines during exploratory laparotomy, in order to gain a clear view of the operating site.

For this purpose, the instrument features circumferential, triangular jaws, which ensure optimal grip on tubular tissues. In addition, the internal surface of the jaws features horizontal serrations for protecting the grasped tissues.

Moreover, the jaws also include our UltraGrip™ technology. This feature reinforces the working surface with tungsten carbide inserts for stronger grasping action.

All our Babcock Intestinal and Tissue Grasping Forcep feature long shafts for deep surgical access. Also, the ratchet mechanism allows for self-locking the jaws, which enables surgeons to grasp other devices.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
