Opens the vagina for access to the vaginal wall, cervix, uterus and uterine contents. It is useful for retracting the posterior vaginal wall for therapeutic gynecological procedures.
Especially includes smooth jaws with blunt tip which help to slide through the vagina. The smooth outer curves of the instrument also prevent damage to surrounding tissues.
