The Overholt-Mixter Dissecting and Ligature Forceps offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to assist surgeons during ligature procedures, in order to control haemostasis.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of long, curved jaws that help to carry large areas of tissue. In addition, the jaws’ inner serrations are especially useful to prevent local damage during the procedure.

Moreover, the Overholt-Mixter Dissecting and Ligature Forceps features a ratchet system to self-lock the jaws. As a result, surgeons can apply different levels of clamping pressure as necessary. A pair of finger rings enhance gripping and prevent accidental slippage.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality instruments in your operating rooms.
