The Muller Approximator offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to clamp and face the two ends of a surgically cut nerve or blood vessel against each other.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of concave clips that form a hole at the tip. In addition, the diameter of the hole ranges from 1.0 to 4.0mm to clamp vessels and nerves of different sizes. After that, surgeons can tighten the distance between the clips using the sliding bar and perform the anastomosis.
Moreover, the Muller Approximator features a 17.0mm overall length to fit in small spaces. Also, the clips apply 25 to 30 grams of pressure to prevent endothelial damage or blood leakage.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality instruments in your operating rooms.
